It’s inspired by the women that I have connected with in studio, and those in my life who are mothers, professionals, high achievers, who just need a moment for themselves.

It’s also inspired by everything that I need to keep me feeling grounded and aligned. It’s the practices that I’ve been consistent with over the last decade that have held me through all phases of life.

What is State of Slow?

An online sanctuary full of yoga classes, meditations, breathwork practices & grounding rituals.

The practices inside State of Slow have been created to be ritualised - light a candle, get cosy and get connected.

There are four themes to support you through seasons of growth, transition, ambition, motherhood, business, and everything in between. You’ll be able to return to the practices again and again, whenever you need. State of Slow supports not just how you move your body, breath and mind, but how you create, lead, and live.

THE WHY BEHIND STATE OF SLOW

My body whispered gently at me to slow down, before it gave me no choice. Time to nourish & connect with myself is the one thing I wish I had prioritised more deeply.

For me, the absolute necessity to slow down came after life brought me some of the biggest hurdles I’ve known, years of low-level stress, building a business, and most recently, a Melanoma diagnosis, which was, thankfully, caught early.

I’m okay now. And while it feels a little vulnerable to share, there has been so much learning and growth within these experiences. They’ve completely shaped the way I want to live, show up, run my business, and create moving forward.

I had heard the saying, ‘before the body shouts, it whispers.’ And even with all of the wisdom of yoga, and my absolute passion for living a holistically well life, I ignored these whispers.

I don’t share this story to create a sense of fear, I share this because I have seen almost every woman around me living in the same way. A state of rushing, a million to-do’s, the endless juggle.

This program exists to provide you with space and permission to soften, to balance your mind and body, to pause, to go slow. Whether it’s 5 minutes, or 50 minutes.

My hope this that you will return to the practices again and again, when you’ve had a stressful day, when your mind won’t turn off, or when you’re doubting yourself. State of Slow is here to bring you back to balance.
